Sachin Tendulkar ala re in Bollywood!

Indian cricket legend SACHIN TENDULKAR is set to become a Bollywood star - he'll make his movie debut with a cameo role in a new film.Tendulkar will play himself in Vighnaharta Shri Siddhivinayak.Producer Rajiv Sanghvi says, "He will play a small role, as himself, either in a song sequence or in an actual scene."Tendulkar has offered to take part in the film for free.The film will start shooting next month, and will also feature Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

Ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is making his Bollywood debut with a cameo. He will be seen in a movie devoted to Shri Siddhivinayak. Sachin is a true devotee of Sri Ganesha and when he was approached for the role, he readily agreed. The film will be produced by Siddhivinayak Temple Trust and the production will be headed by Rajiv Sanghvi.
"He will play a small role, as himself, either in a song sequence or in an actual scene," says Rajiv Sanghvi. Tendulkar has given his words and he would start shooting for the film soon he returns from the Sri Lankan tour. Siddhivinayak Temple Trust has chosen Sachin for the role as he is a regular visitor of the temple for many years now and he never gives up an opportunity to show his devotion. As a mark of respect, Sachin will perform free of cost.
The film titled Vighnaharta Shri Siddhivinayak and will also have Amitabh Bachchan’s voice-over.

Both bollywood and cricket are indeed a passion in our country and it becomes a talking point whenever these two passions gel in with each other. Where IPL saw various Bolly-actors attending the stadium to watch this gentleman sport, cricketers like Sandeep Patil, Sunil Gavaskar, Vinod Kambli and Salil Ankola too have shared the screen space with the Bolly-celebs acting in various films. Now non-other-then little master Sachin Tendulkar would be seen displaying his acting skills in Yashwanth Ingavale’s Vighnaharta Shri Siddhivinayak, a film based on the miracles of the Hindu deity, Ganesh. Being Lord Ganesha’s devotee himself Sachin would not be charging any penny for the film. Apart from Sachin even Australian cricketer Bret Lee is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with Manmohan Shetty’s Victory.
After having received innumerable awards for his brilliant cricketing skills it would be interesting to see whether this master blaster succeeds in giving an award winning performance in this film. -(SAMPURN).Tendulkar- the batsman is going to do Hindi movie and we all hope that he will be a bollywood hero in future .
